Lynn A. Corbin is a Professor of Music at Valdosta State University. In her eleven years at VSU, she has taught a variety of music courses in choral/general music education at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
In 1998 she became the music director for the Valdosta Choral Guild. She has presented sessions at GMEA conferences and has been a choral adjudicator for GMEA and, in Ohio, OMEA. Before coming to Valdosta, she was the music consultant for the State of Ohio Department of Education (2 years) and on the faculty of the Ohio State University (Marion) for 12 years. She has sung professionally with the Cantari Singers of Columbus (10 years) and with the Robert Shaw Festival Singers in France (1988, 1994) and Carnegie Hall (1995, 1996). Her public school teaching experience includes junior high general, choral, and instrumental and senor high choral. She holds degrees from Otterbein College and The Ohio State University.
