The Valdosta Choral Guild :: About Us

Valdosta Choral Guild, a community choir, has been singing Just Beautiful Music for almost 40 years. We, of course, love to sing, but we also love the vocal training we get during rehearsals.

We are committed to maintaining a public venue for those that love to sing. We are also committed to bringing our music to the community. Not only do we keep our ticket prices low choosing to be mostly patron supported, we always have complimentary tickets available for men, women and children with disabilities.

We sing two programs a year, a Christmas program in early December and a spring concert. The Christmas concert often has one classical piece and Christmas songs from around the world. The spring concert is likely to have just about anything.

We enjoy taking the show on the road by singing for church groups and community organizations. Valdosta Choral Guild has also been asked to sing Mozart's Requiem, our current production, in the Sydney Opera House in Sydney Australia in 2009.
